Troubleshooting

Solutions to common issues and answers to frequent questions.

My agent is offline

If your agent shows as offline, try restarting it from the agent detail page in the dashboard. If it stays offline after restarting, check that your AI provider API key is valid by going to Settings > Secrets in the dashboard.

After creating or restarting an agent, it can take up to 60 seconds for the agent to come online. If it has been more than 2 minutes, something may be wrong with your configuration.

Chat is not responding

Your agent may be processing a request. Give it about 30 seconds and try again. AI responses can take time, especially for complex questions.

If the agent still does not respond, try restarting it from the agent detail page. If the problem persists, your agent may be experiencing a temporary issue — wait a few minutes and try again.

"Agent not found" error

This means the agent you are trying to reach does not exist. It may have been deleted. Go to your dashboard to see your current list of agents.

I can't create more agents

You have reached the 5 agent limit. Each employee can create up to 5 agents. To free up a slot, delete an agent you no longer need from its detail page in the dashboard.

My agent does not remember previous conversations

Agent vector memory indexes new information on a scheduled basis (approximately once per hour). If you just had a conversation, the agent may not have indexed it yet.

Give it up to an hour for new information to be available in the agent's long-term memory. Short-term conversation context is available immediately within the same chat session.

Agent is slow

Each agent has 200 MHz CPU and 1.5 GB memory. This is enough for most tasks, but complex operations (like processing large documents or multi-step reasoning) may take longer. This is normal behavior.

The speed of AI responses also depends on your AI provider. If Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI is experiencing high demand, responses may be slower than usual.

My API key is not working

If your agent cannot connect to your AI provider, your API key may be invalid or expired. Here is what to check:

  • Verify your key is valid at your provider's dashboard (e.g., console.anthropic.com for Anthropic)
  • Make sure you have billing set up with your AI provider
  • Try re-entering your API key in the dashboard

First deployment takes a long time

The very first time you create an agent, the platform may need to prepare your environment. This can take 60 to 120 seconds. After that, creating new agents or restarting existing ones is much faster (30 to 60 seconds).
